| Candace has called Casper, Wyoming home since 2003. In 2016, she earned her Associate of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies from Casper College as a non-traditional student. She became a Certified Paralegal through NALA in October 2018, and also earned three advancements to her CP credential: discovery, trial practice, and personal injury. Candace began her legal career at 20 years old and never looked back. She's worked across several areas of law but made her mark in civil litigation, mainly personal injury. After spending years on the defense side, she crossed over to the plaintiff's side by joining The Spence Law Firm, LLC in March 2022 where she's proud to use her knowledge and skills to help make a difference for those who need it most. Currently, Candace is working towards her Bachelor of Arts in English at Arizona State University to further strengthen her writing, analytical, and communication skills. She also volunteers as a Court Navigator for the Wyoming Court Navigator Program, helping pro-se litigants navigate the court system. When she's not working, volunteering, or studying, you can find her spending time with family and friends, loving on her two Labrador retrievers, reading, listening to music, or binge-watching reruns of her favorite TV shows. Candace been a member of LAW since 2010, and has served on the board in several positions since 2022. She is looking forward to serving as Second Vice President during the 2026–2027 fiscal year. |
