Meet THe Board of Directors 2025-2026

Tammy Wuertley ACP - Second Vice President

Although a native Michigander, Tammy moved to Casper, Wyoming in July 2007, met her husband two weeks later and made Wyoming her home. She has an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies (AAS) and Bachelor of Business Leadership (BBL), both from Baker College of Muskegon, Michigan. She also has earned her Certified Paralegal designation in 2010 and Advanced Certification in automobile accidents in 2012 through NALA. She is currently working on her Advanced Certification in personal injury.

Tammy has been a legal assistant and/or paralegal for several years, working for various law firms throughout Michigan and Wyoming. Most recently, she worked 100% remotely for K Altman Law, a law firm based in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She is now looking forward to operating freelance paralegal business, THW Paralegal LLC.

Tammy has been a member of LAW since 2009, and has served on LAW's board as President, Vice President, 1st Vice President, NALA Liaison, and Region 3 Director. She is grateful to serve as this fiscal year's 2nd Vice President.

Tammy and her husband Adam live on their 120-acre ranchette in BB Brooks Ranch, just east of Evansville, with their four dogs, two goats, nine hens, and their snobby cat Olivia. For hobbies, she is an addictive gardener, loves bicycling and hiking, and determined to paddle board and learn how to golf—one of these days.
